Answers To Your Legal Problems

Many people who are faced with the loss of a loved one don’t understand the process of dealing with the estate or financial implications they may face. I have helped hundreds of clients settle estates, paying any estate tax that may be due and distributing assets and property according to the deceased’s beneficiaries. I have also successfully represented clients in will contests. I have seen the damage this type of litigation can do to a family, so I will do what I can to help you resolve these family issues peacefully.

Whether you need help planning or probating an estate, if you have zoning issues, are facing or thinking about litigation, the most important service I offer is the ability to solve your legal problems as quickly, inexpensively, and effectively. My job is to know the law and work effectively in your best interest.

I also offer Pre-Nuptial Agreement servicesOften it is useful for parties contemplating marriage to enter into an agreement which will establish rights of each of them on death or divorce.  Initially, it is important to understand that “pre-nup” agreements have been upheld by the Connecticut courts if both parties are represented by counsel, exchange complete financial information and sign the agreement comfortably ahead of the time that they are walking down the aisle.

Another thing that gives some relief to the parties, especially the “non-moneyed” spouse is that a pre-nup sets minimum requirements on these issues, but that does not mean that, for example, a Will can be drawn up giving more than the required minimum inheritance to the other party.

If you are thinking about a pre-nup, please start to work on it well before you are feeling the pressure of a marriage ceremony.

My Philosophy Is Simple:

Solve each client’s legal problem as quickly
and inexpensively as possible.
